Top 8 must-have skills for every UI/UX Designer
1️⃣ Research The designer should be able to gather insights from users and competitors. Therefore, it's so important to know how to conduct user interviews, usability testings and how to do a competitor analysis. . 2️⃣ Creativity When you fall in love with the idea that doesn’t work, it’s so important to find dozens of other solutions. Also, you can conduct a brainstorming session with your team. . 3️⃣ Prototyping It's so good if you can prototype on paper, but you also should be able to create an interactive prototype with Principle, Flinto or Invision and test it on users (or team). . 4️⃣ Visual Design The fundamental basics of design include composition, color theory, typography and grids that are must-have knowledge for any designer. . 5️⃣ Animation Interaction with the user interface also impacts on user experience. And you should be able to create a clear animation that users will understand. . 6️⃣ Usability Knowledge of user behavior patterns can help you to create an easy-to-use interface. I recommend you to read Apple’s and Google’s guidelines that match with usability principles. . 7️⃣ Analytics The strong product designer knows how to increase Retention, what is ARPU, DAU, and can apply statistical knowledge to own design solution. . 8️⃣ Design Tools Finally, the product designer should implement own ideas with design tool such a Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma or Photoshop. ___________________________________ The second part will be available soon.
