Perfect digital product design process
The perfect design process does not exist💔⠀

It can vary from industry to industry or even from company to company. And that's great. Many paths allow us to get to any goal.⠀
-
The design process can be described from many perspectives: Design Thinking concentrates on the way one should approach problem instead of deliverables or strict process. Design Sprint is more specific: map (problem), sketch, decide, prototype and test. And there are many others like Double Dimond.⠀
-
What all of them have in common is a belief that you first need to discover the problem you want to solve. Only then you can work on possible solutions (step by step) and at the end, test it and improve.⠀
-
Today I'd like to present to you my approach to digital process. The model that we established together with my colleagues from EL Passion and are using in our projects on a daily basis.⠀
-
The process follows the same rules, but it adds the layer of deliverables and gives you a more specific idea when to work on which artefact and how! ⠀
-
1️⃣ Phase: UX Strategy⠀
This phase is all about problem discovery and solution ideation. We use different methodologies like research and workshops to outline the problem and then ideate on high-level solution ideas⠀
-
2️⃣ Phase: UX Design⠀
We focus on translating high-level concepts into more tangible artefacts like user flows or information architecture. The final deliverable at this phase is a prototype. ⠀
-
3️⃣ Phase Visual Design⠀
The last step of the process is all about aesthetics: implementing brand visual identity into our prototype. The result is not only the actual design but all other artefacts for future development.⠀

And you? what kind of approach do you take in your projects? Let me know in comments!
