How to become faster at design thinking?
⚡How to become faster at design thinking? @mizko “How can I become faster and better at design thinking?” The answer is simple. Practice. One of the most quoted lines from Bruce Lee is “I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.” It's a quote that emphasises the importance of focused practice and a high level of proficiency. The more you practice the design thinking process, the better and faster you will become at it. However you need to make sure you focus on the key components of it. Far too many designers are obsessed with visuals and aren’t spending enough time on the process. Following a process helps you structure your thoughts and it also helps you dig deeper into the situation. If you jump straight into wireframes or designs, you’ll always stay as a visual designer. If you take a step back and practice a proper design thinking process, you will eventually master a structured process that will help you approach any problem with confidence. It feels great to be back and I hope you enjoy this week’s post about design thinking.
