UX Research may not sound like the most important or even the slightest intriguing thing to do in the product design cycle, especially for us designers, but nevertheless, research is still one of the most crucial aspect of the entire design process. Getting the research process right will make sure you look skilled & trained in front of your peers and your potential future employers. This is a file I prepared to illustrate the basics of user research methodologies, in particularly helped my team and I tremendously during grad school studies. (I personally believe these info will help if you are an interaction/product design major and are new at working things such as maneuvering different types of user research for your studies).
